Teens found walking Knysna streets with pangas

Knysna - Two 16-year-old youths carrying pangas in a street in Knysna were arrested by police.

Sergeant Chris Spies said the two teenagers were walking down Peter Street and Khayelethu in Knysna on Monday afternoon.

"Members of the police received information about juveniles with possible sharp objects in their possession. The police responded and found the youngsters on the street.

"They were searched and a knife and two pangas were found hidden under their jackets," said Spies.
Both of them were released into their parents' care.
