Bloemfontein - The police have arrested a third suspect in the Christo Kruger farm murder in Kuruman, Northern Cape, police spokesperson Sergio Kok confirmed to News24.
The man was apprehended at his house in Bankarra, Kuruman. The police also confiscated a hunting rifle.
Frank Itumelen, 22, and Ben Thabo, 19, were arrested last Saturday in Bankarra in connection with Kruger's murder on May 28 on his farm Byron.
He had been investigating after his dogs became restless, but was killed by a single gunshot through a locked security door. Nothing was stolen.
The third suspect will appear in the Kuruman Magistrates Court on Monday with the other two suspects, Kok said.
