Johannesburg - Three women have been arrested for allegedly dealing in drugs, Kimberly police said on Saturday.
Spokesperson Lieutenant Sergio Kock said the Kimberley Visible Policing unit followed up on information regarding drugs sales at a house in Beaconsfield on Friday night.
"Police raided the premises and found three women aged between 25 and 42 inside the house. Tik to the value of approximately R3 500 and mandrax to the value of R1 000 was discovered in one of the bedrooms," he said in a statement.
Police also confiscated R1 100 cash. The three would appear in the Kimberley Magistrate's Court soon.
