They waited till morning? I know there's a time frame for reporting missing persons but a child not home at night is surely already cause for concern?

We need not contradict the incident. There is a different between kidnapping and missing. Let's not say child has been kidnapped if there are no kidnappers. Is this to avoid charging the parents with negligence? The child was seen around and possibly alone and therefore not kidnapped but lost.

So Sad - where were the parents or at least a responsible person to watch a child of 3. In this country the parents are as responsible for the child's disappearance as whoever took the child.

How sad that we still have vulture criminals who prey on little children.

Why was the child playing outside without adult supervision and why did the parents only report it the next day. I smell a rat.
