Johannesburg - Two people were injured when a car and train collided in Ermelo, Mpumalanga, on Thursday, said paramedics.
The driver of the vehicle allegedly did not stop at a train crossing, resulting in the collision with the train, said ER24 spokesperson Russel Rossouw.
"When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene they found that two people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate," said Rossouw.
"One patient was the driver of the light motor vehicle and the other was a passenger in the back of the motor vehicle."
Both were treated on scene before being transported to the Medi-Clinic Ermelo for further treatment.
