A preliminary investigation was conducted and it led to the arrest of a 37-year-old female suspect for possession of dagga about 25.5kg with estimated street value of R51 000," spokesperson Constable Noloyiso Rwexana said.

In a separate incident, K-9 police searched a cooler truck and arrested a 41-year-man old man fo allegedly being in possession of six boxes containing 59 000 mandrax tablets, with estimated street value of R2.95m, and 3.358kg of tik, with estimated value of R1.175m.

Both the man and the woman were expected to appear in court once charged.
