Bloemfontein - A 37-year-old woman has appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court for ramming her Toyota into her ex-husband’s Jeep Cherokee multiple times after a heated argument at their son’s school.
The incident occurred at Grey College Pre-Primary on Friday, allegedly following an argument between the two divorcees over their son’s school clothes, Netwerk24 reported on Tuesday.
Natasha Swart from Woodland Hills, Bloemfontein, is facing a malicious damage to property charge.
It is unclear how many times Natasha rammed her car into her ex-husband, Gerhard’s, Jeep, but the damage was reportedly worth R200 000, a police spokesperson said.
The son was in the back of the Jeep during the incident. Neither the son nor the ex-husband were injured.
She was released on R500 bail later on Friday, and will appear in court again on June 24.
The couple have been divorced for approximately four months, Netwerk24 added.
