Cape Town - A group who allegedly robbed a Wellington farmhouse was arrested just hours after the crime, Western Cape police said on Wednesday.
The six allegedly entered the home at around 22:30 on Tuesday and threatened the owners with a knife and other sharp objects, said Lieutenant-Colonel Andrè Traut.
They packed a vehicle with cellphones, laptops, a rifle with ammunition and other personal property before fleeing the scene.
Traut said detectives tracked the group to a home in Paarl in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The six, aged between 25 and 43, were arrested. Officers seized the vehicle and stolen property.
They are expected to appear in the Wellington Magistrate's Court once charged.
