As it happened: Hlaudi is the new Group Executive of Corporate Affairs

Hlaudi says we should stop attacking each other because of colour. 

Motsoeneng speaking on the Thank you SABC concert. He says the SABC was not involved in the organising.

CEO says the GE of cooperate affairs, who was appointed about 2 months ago, will now be a project management officer.

Lucky says the PP was trying to bully the SABC. " it appears that there is an agenda."

Lucky Tekisho, private citizen, says this is an example of white arrogance. 

Ngubeni denies all allegations. 

"I have been in this country since 2007. You have made the same nonsensical allegations but it will not deter me."

Paul Ngubeni wants to respond to allegations of being a fugitive in the US.

Says journalist Stephen Grootes has an agenda.

 "People who are talking about  Hlaudi it's not my business it's their business. I want to perform... I enjoy."

"I cause havoc everywhere I go," Motsoeneng says.

 "We will make sure emerging companies get jobs," he said in answer to a question about procurement.

He says the journalist's questions are too easy.

Motsoeneng speaking again.

Chairman of the board says Motsoeneng has a right to employment and the Public Protector can't say that he can't be appointed.

"The judgment says nothing about firing Hlaudi or not re-appointing him."

It seems law expert Paul Ngubeni who spoke on behalf on Motsoeneng is wanted in the US.

Now question and answers.

He says journalists don't read court judgements. He goes into the judgement and the discrepancies he claims in articles by journalists.

Paul Ngubeni a law expert who got involved with the SABC matter, is now speaking. He says he is disturbed by a trend in journalists and how they approach court judgments.

Motsoeneng is done speaking.

He asks journalists what their agenda is. 

He says it was relevant to tell people to pay TV licences at Mandoza's funeral because with licence fees you can pay artists.

Then gives a journalism lesson to reporters.

"There are a few journalists that talk bad about me and I like them because they do their research ... Others they just talk."

He says there are several things that will change including procurement, marketing, outsourcing, technology.

"As an individual I accept the court ruling. I accept that SABC should follow proper process and I am going to apply. I believe were I am I do miracles."

"I want to recognise people who recognised this wonderful Hlaudi Motsoeneng," he say and names those who were in charge when he got to the SABC.

There is only one Hlaudi in South Africa and my future is in my hands, Motsoeneng says.

Hlaudi is not an issue, he says, referring to himself in the third person.

"The issue is the serious allegations from the PP."

"I will never have stress. I am a different animal."

He says he will have fun with the media.

He says he is happy to be back in his original position and claims that as COO he was instituting some of the projects that he initiated during his time as Cooperate Affairs.

He says he will bring a chocolate cake to provinces to devided. He says all 11 languages will be catered for.

He says he will bring excitement in his new position and he will make sure that provinces revitalise their content.

He starts off by saying he is very interesting.

Motsoeneng will now speak.

He says We are very aware that we are competing  with other media houses but they must do everything above board. He says they are resolute when it comes to disciplinary processes.

"We don't talk but we act."

"We want to transform technology and we know certain areas of the organization have been untouchable and we want to change this."

80% of their income is through advertising and TV license. Motsoeneng will be overseeing this side of the business.

Aguma says Motsoeneng will be leading efforts to increase revenue for the SABC.
