Cape Town - A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Cape Town metro policeman, the SA Police Service announced on Saturday.
The Hawks made the arrest in Kleinvlei, outside Cape Town on Friday.
The man is believed to be linked to the murder of constable, Ben Koopman, 53.
In February this year, Koopman was ambushed, allegedly by two men while walking to his official vehicle outside his home in Eerste River.
His service pistol and two-way radio were stolen.
The suspect will appear in the Blue Downs Magistrate's Court on Monday.
