Vryburg – Police have arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with the murder of a 4-year-old girl in Huhudi, near Vryburg in the North West.
The body of Nomthandazo Talakase was found last week in bushes near the Monoto Mosetlha informal settlement in Huhudi. She was discovered when a boy who had gone hunting came across her. Her body was missing a left hand.
According to police spokesperson Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone, the man was arrested on Sunday.
He was expected to appear in the Vryburg Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
