Cape Town - One of the victims caught in the crossfire of a Stellenbosch club shooting on Saturday was a mother of two from Kuils River.
Nicole Muller, 30, was celebrating a friend's 30th birthday party when a shooting broke out at the Cubana nightclub in Stellenbosch early on Saturday morning.
It is believed the shooting is gang-related.

Muller and another 40-year-old male, Donovan Jacobs, passed away in the incident, while a third person was injured.
It is understood Jacobs was the target of the shootings, and had run inside the club to escape his attackers, to no avail.
News24 contacted the family on Saturday night. Muller's uncle, Vernon Norton, said the family had no comment for the media at that stage.
Western Cape police captain FC van Wyk told News24 on Sunday that the family had been informed.
The mother of her husband, Andre, told Rapport that her son was "broken", and could not speak to the media.
Nicole is survived by Andre and her two sons.
'My wife!'
An eyewitness told MatieMedia on Saturday that the shooting started sometime around midnight, from outside the club. One of the victims, Donovan Jacobs, ran into the kitchen, where he was shot.
"The woman was just unfortunate because there were about 30 people on the dance floor and she was the one who got shot," said the eyewitness, who did not want to be named.
"It was not a student because her husband was later called to the scene," he added.
Her husband arrived on the scene shortly after the shooting, shouting, "My wife! My wife!"
Another eyewitness said that two men fled the scene after gunshots were heard. One tall person with a black hoodie, and another shorter person were seen getting into a black Citi Golf with a CY number plate.
The street outside Cubana was chaotic after the shooting, with more than 20 police officers combing the scene and several police cars blocking the entrance to the club.
Van Wyk said there was no update in the case at this point, but police are investigating in the hopes of making an arrest.
