Durban – A man was killed and 20 people were injured when their minibus taxi collided with two cars in Durban on Wednesday morning, paramedics said.
The victim, in his 30s, was trapped underneath the taxi before firefighters got him out, Rescue Care spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said.
He died at the scene.
The taxi collided with two cars on the corner of Isipingo Old Main Road and Platt Drive at 08:40.
Twenty people sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious. They were treated on the scene and taken to various Durban hospitals.
