Three killed in head on collision

Kimberly – Three people were killed and six others injured in a head on collision between two vehicles on the N14 between Kathu and the Deben turn off on Saturday, paramedic services said.

ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said ER24 paramedics in Kuruman and other services attended the incident.

“Sadly a driver from one of the vehicles sustained fatal injuries. Two passengers from the other vehicle also sustained fatal injuries.”

She said that two other patients sustained critical injuries.

“The patients were treated and transported to the Kuruman Hospital for further treatment.”

Authorities were on scene for further investigations, Bodasing said.
