WATCH: Durban motorist gives taxi driver road rage 'spank'

Durban - A video that has been shared on Facebook over 2000 times, shows an irate Durban motorist beating up a taxi driver in peak hour traffic. 

The clip was posted on the social media platform by Amanda Eve Mseleku and shows the motorist punch the driver while he is still in his taxi. The driver then exits via the passenger seat and the brawl continues into the street. 

Fisticuffs 

The motorist can be heard repeating: "Do you think you own the road!?". 

The caption explains that the driver opened his door as if he was going to engage with the driver first. The incident reportedly happened near the Durban Botanical Gardens in Berea.
