Durban – A man who fell down a quarry filled with water in Durban has been rescued with minimal injuries, paramedic services said on Wednesday.
The 37-year-old man allegedly escaped from a nearby rehab facility in Reservoir Hills, Rescue Care spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said from the scene.
Jamieson said IPSS spokesperson Paul Herbst rescued the man from the tricky terrain.
He said the man complained of a pain in his leg once rescued.
"He has been handed over to his brother."
