The Star has published an extract from the new book about Pistorius (called Oscar - An Accident Waiting To Happen).

"He would often say things like: “I’m shopping for your Christmas present” or “I am going to get you this or that”.

"There were always promises, but then nothing would come of them.I was often amazed that he would come visit or stay at our house and never bring a thing, not a slab of chocolate, or a bottle of wine, as most people would, when visiting."

Samantha Taylor's mother has revealed that she is working on a book about Pistorius with a well-known journalist. 

When Reeva was shot dead in February last year, Patricia Taylor posted this status on her Facebook page: "I am so glad that Sammy is safe and sound and out of the clutches of that man. There were a few occasions where things could have gone wrong with her and his gun during the time they dated. My condolences to the family whose daughter has passed away. My heart breaks for you."
