Johannesburg - Four suspended Economic Freedom Fighters MPs on Wednesday lodged an application in the South Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg asking it to nullify the outcome of the party's first elective congress.
"In the application to the high court, the members allege numerous instances of violation of the constitution of the party as well as the rules and guidelines governing the process of election of leadership," they said in a statement.
"The National People's Assembly was compromised variously and its outcomes are not credible."
