WATCH: Eskom threatens to cut power to defaulting municipalities

Eskom has announced its intention to start of power cuts to municipalities in the Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, North West, Mpumalanga and Free State that are in arrears.

By Monday 16 January 2017 five municipalities had made payments or payment arrangements.

The municipalities in question collectively owe the Eskom around R10 billion.
