An in loco inspection took place at the De Zalze Estate in Stellenbosch on Tuesday, on day two of the Van Breda family murder trial. Judge Siraj Desai led a convey to the scene where the brutal axe attack took place in January 2015.
The State and defence lawyers went over details of the crime scene and evidence with Desai inside and outside the property.
Media were denied entry into the former home of the Van Breda family at No. 12 Goske street, but were given demonstrations of possible security breaches/ entry points.
