WATCH: Lesufi says online application system for schools is good to go

The online admissions process for Grade 1 and Grade 8 learners for the 2018 academic year in Gauteng will officially open on May 2.

This is according to Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi, who announced on Tuesday that the system is good to go. Watch. 

The online system was first launched in 2016, to create a more convenient application process for parents of scholars. 

The online stream however faced technical difficulties due to a heavy influx of applications per second. Disgruntled parents have since lashed out at the Education Department.
