Last Tuesday morning a tour operator captured this footage of a base-jumper, using a wing suit, jumping off Table Mountain and gliding effortlessly into a field below. Watch.
Pieter Geldenhuys of PG Tops Travel and Tours was hosting a group of American tourists, when they stopped to observe the crazy feat near Platteklip Gorge.
"He sounded South African, and said he's done about 500 jumps," said Geldenhuys. "I think it might be JJ Wallis from Mother City Skydiving."
News24 contacted Mother City Skydiving, who denied it was JJ, and were not able to confirm who the mystery jumper might be.
