Bangkok - More than 30 000 people have been arrested in China's southern Guangdong province during a two-month crackdown on online gambling and porn, news reports said on Monday.
Police had arrested 3 014 people as of 15 December, and more than 5 000 others were under criminal detention, Xinhua reported, citing the Guangdong provincial public security department.
An online gambling ring in Huizhou City with activities involving around $4.8m was busted on 24 November, Xinua said.
