Montreal – An Air Canada official has said there were no critical injuries after twenty-three people were taken to hospital when an Air Canada jet was forced to crash land in heavy snow at Halifax airport, Nova Scotia.
All but one of the injured were later released from hospital following the incident on Sunday, which came just five days after a pilot killed himself and 149 others when he slammed his Germanwings plane into the French Alps.
The airline’s executive vice president has since expressed his relief that no one was critically injured in the incident after the Air Canada jet struck an antenna upon an attempted landing.
