Ukraine claims capture of 10 Russian soldiers

Moscow - Ukraine is claiming that its forces have captured 10 Russian soldiers in an eastern region where the Ukrainian troops are fighting pro-Russia separatists.

The Facebook page for the anti-rebel operation - which includes the military, the national guard and Interior Ministry forces - said the soldiers are from a Russian paratrooper division and were captured on Monday in the area of Amvrosiivka, near the Russian border in the Donetsk region.

The posting on Tuesday did not give details of how the capture took place. It posted videos of five men it said were among the captives, one of whom said the soldiers had been told they were being mobilised to take part in military exercises.

Let us wait and see how this develops. Just about all the reports of this nature coming out of kiev have ended up being straight out lies without proof. Will believe this when we see real proof. With the OSCE all over the place and the yanks trying everything to dig up dirt on Russia, this would be a silly move to make. Never mind that kiev is like a second iraq with the amount of US military presence there.

It's amazing how desperate you guys are to latch onto any news report that might implicate Russia in South Eastern Ukraine....speaks of desperation if you ask me and anyhow how many other claims have been made and nothing substantiated...where is the investigation into the snipers on Maiden back at the beginning of the year and what about the Odessa murder of unharmed and innocent people...and lastly the MH17 Russia just yesterday asked for the proof that the US says it has of Separatist involvement to be made public...and grab onto this report if it helps you find some credibility in your minds..but hang on tight!

Russia has a centuries old history of invasion and domination of Eastern Europe. Finland, Poland, The Baltic States, Czech Republic, Georgia. Now Putin, in his endeavour to be a modern day Czar,is bullying his neighbours. Either you follow the Russian dictatorial line, like Belarus, or you will be destabilised and maybe some of your territory illegally annexed.
