This year’s Heidedal Music Expo showcased some of the finest performing artists and their various backgrounds. The performers displayed their talent to wow an audience of about 150 in attendance. Acts showcasing genres such as reggae, Afro jazz, R&B, gospel, and soul were on full display.

Taking place in the Norman Doubell Hall in Heidedal on Friday, 15 March, the music extravaganza featured 26 acts.

While it targeted youthful artists between the ages of six and 36 years, the expo turned into an attraction for fan-favourite performers who collaborated with the younger generation, harmonising their talent to offer memorable performances.

Some performers travelled from Thaba ’Nchu to contribute to the success of the one-night show.

Another Level, a foursome from Heidedal, performed some of their recorded songs, and also collaborated with soloist Palesa.

According to Dr Nathan Bagarette, coordinator and co-director of Baobab Entertainment NPC, the show laid the foundation for the discovery of the Free State’s rich and untapped music talent pool.

This expo is the brainchild of Baobab Entertainment NPC and is supported by various partners and sponsors, which include the Free State Department of Sport, Arts, Culture and Reaction, Radio Bloem and Heidedal Live, as well as the Central24 media group, of which BloemNews and BloemExpress are titles. ) See more photos on news24.com.
