André the Hilarious Hypnotist brings to the Savoy Theatre his latest captivating comedy hypnosis show, Sleep!

This hypnotist has become a prominent name within the South African entertainment industry.

He was taught by hypnosis legend, Max Collie, and has toured the country regularly, delivering his mind-control act, filling up theatres, and adding a few signature pieces to his act to make it his own. These acts are known to be engaging for the audience, every time.

André’s audience participation show is known for being amongst the best of its kind and falls right into the wheelhouse of families and groups who show interest in witnessing a different side of themselves, or their friends, for the night.

He uses his gentle good nature, in conjunction with adding an element of comedy to his show, to create genuine excitement and anticipation for his performance in the eyes of the audience.

When André hits his stride, it appears as though he has his audience dancing to his tune, coaxing them to let go of their reservations as they mimic sprinklers, chatter in foreign tongues, morph into dinosaurs, or effortlessly converse in the language of the moon.

“In reality, people actually hypnotise themselves. All I do is offer up crazy suggestions, then logic and self-consciousness fly out the window as they convince themselves of the craziest notions, and the show is on!

“It really does depend on the individual though. Some are more susceptible to preposterous propositions than others, but every night we seem to unearth some extraordinarily colourful gems!” said André.

Tickets for Sleep! can be bought on www.webtickets.co.za at R150 per show, which will enjoy a four-day run from May 7 to 10, starting at 20:00 each evening.
