Adriaan Basson asks what was the thought process behind Facebook deciding a book, exposing the ANC's poor governance record and investigating the new political players on the ballot was too dangerous for advertising.

In October last year, I published a book on the ANC's 30 years of misrule and what the political future of South Africa holds with colleague Qaanitah Hunter. 

The book is titled Who will rule South Africa? The demise of the ANC and the rise of a new democracy and tracks the ANC's record in government since 1994 from the arms deal to the Zondo Commission.
