With less than two months before what is likely our most important election since 1994, our focus appears to be elsewhere, and not back home where it should be, argues Howard Feldman.

It should worry South Africans that with less than two months before a critical national election, we speak more of Gaza and Israel than we do about our own country.

If the opinion section on the News24 platform reflects "conversations," then South Africans are simply less interested in our future than we are in a conflict on the other side of the world.
