Howard Feldman visits Israel for the first time since the 7 October attack to get a better understanding of what happened.  He writes that while Israelis feel let down by their government for what happened, they remain resilient and determined.

I have just returned from having spent six days in Israel.

It was my first trip since the 7 October attack, and I wanted to see what had happened for myself. With media focus primarily on the situation in Gaza, I felt a need to understand what impact the war was having on Israel and its citizens.
