The idea of genocide is shifting in light of Gaza, and that has implications for many of South Africa's allies and, Israel will probably argue, for SA's own handling of xenophobia, writes Phillip de Wet.

This weekend, Rwanda marked 30 years since its genocide, a stretch of roughly 100 days during which hundreds of thousands of people were slaughtered.
