A 52-year-old man who faces reckless and negligent driving charges after he crashed into former president Jacob Zuma's armoured state vehicle on Thursday night has been released on R500 bail.
KwaZulu-Natal National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Natasha Ramkisson-Kara said the man appeared in the Eshowe Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
He was charged with reckless and negligent driving as well as driving under the influence of alcohol.
