President Cyril Ramaphosa will receive the 2022 census report on Tuesday, which allows citizens to gauge the latest statistics on population size, demographic trends and which parts of the country have access to housing, water, and electricity.
The last time Statistics South Africa published a census report was more than a decade ago, in 2011.
The demographic survey was supposed to be conducted in 2021, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, its compilation and publishing were delayed.
