The City of Johannesburg's Group Forensic and Investigation Services is investigating how former president Jacob Zuma's uMkhonto we Sizwe Party (MK Party) has allegedly occupied a "boardroom" space in one of the city's hijacked buildings.
The political newcomers seemingly took over this space at the expense of an non-governmental organisation (NGO) that ran a drug rehabilitation centre for youths and other social programmes at the building in downtown Johannesburg.
And even though the national office of the MK Party denies involvement in the hijacked building, according to at least three witnesses who have observed activity there, the building is used by MK Party members.
