Dina Pule left the political spotlight under a cloud of controversy in 2013 when she was fired as a minister and fined by Parliament.

But she was back in the spotlight at the weekend when elected as the deputy secretary-general of the ANC Women's League (ANCWL). 

Pule was elected with an overwhelming 1 713 votes.
