24.com launches new digital product for women

accreditation

Cape Town - Today marks the reinvention of SA’s largest website for women. The new platform, W24, has a boldly female, younger, fresher focus with both a local and international take on content.

"W24 is the newest lifestyle destination for millennial South African women, who are looking for a platform that is inspirational, yet grounded and meaningful to them and their lives," says Lili Radloff, W24 editor.

W24 will cover everything from local and international trends in fashion and beauty to wedding planning, wellness of mind and body, home decor, DIY, relationship advice, soapies and horoscopes.

"It's a beautiful day for the team at W24 and we are confident that this brand will resonate with this highly desirable audience," says Deirdre Ingpen, Head of Commercial at 24.com. "The new design affords advertisers the opportunity to include their content alongside the glossy editorial and also offers the latest advertising instream formats on mobile."

"When we researched the environment it was clear that there was a huge need for a destination that really understood and celebrated what it meant to be young and female in South Africa – a platform that offered real content, 100% geared towards her lifestyle," says Radloff. "So we decided to create a brand that talks to this sizable, important audience."

Creating the content is a young, diverse, dedicated team and a host of knowledgeable and influential contributors.

Radloff says users will still find all their favourite sections from Women24 on W24. "Don’t think of it as saying goodbye to an old friend, think of it as welcoming a new one," says Radloff.
