'Are you the one who is killing me?': Wounded man's last words to his wife before his death

Just before he drew his last breath, Limpopo Warrant Officer Mogokolodi Cleopass Digama looked at the person who had shot him and asked: "My love, are you the one who is killing me?"

The details emerged in the Limpopo High Court in Polokwane when his wife, Tubake Sister Maesela, 44, and her lover, Mmamoraba Jacob Mashiba, 41, were sentenced to life imprisonment for his murder, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) said on Monday.

But Maesela continued to pull the trigger three times, NPA spokesperson Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi said.
