'Blood spills and will keep spilling every day': Hanover Park residents demand action from Cele

Language barriers, unanswered phones, a lack of available police vehicles and police brutality were among the concerns Hanover Park residents outlined on Sunday when they gathered outside an imbizo police management and others were holding with Police Minister Bheki Cele.

They demanded that Cele provide them with a clear plan of action and take accountability for the ongoing gang violence in the area.

They told him that there were "almost never police vans available" to restore peace in the area.
