The State has withdrawn rape and sexual assault charges against one of the infamous Boeremag members after his accuser signalled that she no longer wished to continue with the criminal case.
The man, who cannot be named until he pleads to the charges, was arrested in August this year after two teenagers – a 16-year-old girl and a 19-year-old woman – accused him of rape and sexual assault.
The crimes were allegedly committed in Kleinfontein, an Afrikaner enclave in Pretoria, where both teenagers worked for him and were also members of a survival-type camp he ran.
