Three members of a family from Wallaceden, Cape Town appeared in the Stellenbosch Magistrate's Court on Monday after the Cape of Good Hope SPCA and Animal Welfare Society of Stellenbosch (AWSS) opened an animal cruelty case against them for hanging their dogs.
The family told the SPCA the dogs were ill.
