While mop-up operations are under way in Cape Town, authorities are monitoring high-risk areas after the storm that swept through the Western Cape.
The City of Cape Town's spokesperson, Luthando Tyhalibongo, said: "The City is currently busy with clean-up operations across the metropole, with teams attending to critical infrastructure repair work."
Residents in parts of the Western Cape were battered by two days of damaging wind, steady rain and devastating fires.
