Two-time Olympic gold medalist and world champion Caster Semenya said she was no longer talking about sports, saying her goal now was to protect and save young girls and women from enduring what she went through.
Semenya was speaking at a briefing on Friday to appeal for help in funding her legal battle against regulations that require female athletes, with high testosterone levels, to take medication.
She won the case in July 2023 at the European Court of Human Rights, but Swiss authorities have taken the matter to the court's Grand Chamber.
