The SA National Defence Force (SANDF) has hit the ground in four provinces to help the police after scores of trucks have been torched in a spate of mysterious attacks.
Police have so far arrested two suspects after identifying 12 persons of interest linked to a total of 21 trucks going up in flames in KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
National police spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mathe said the first suspect was arrested on a farm in Piet Retief with the assistance of a private security firm and the other was arrested in Ermelo.
