A Mpumalanga matric pupil died after being bitten by a snake at a school camp.

A matric pupil has died after being bitten by a snake while on a school camp.

The 18-year-old died on Monday night during a Grade 12 camp organised to help matrics prepare for their National Senior Certificate Examination, said Mpumalanga education department spokesperson Jasper Zwane.
