When a team of detectives called celebrity bodyguard Anwar Khan to tell him that they were looking to arrest him for University of Fort Hare (UFH) fraud and corruption, he allegedly told them: "not today".
Khan, however, denies that he evaded arrest.
He is accused of using money from his company, Pentagon Group, to fund the killing of UFH vice-chancellor Sakhela Buhlungu's bodyguard, Mboneli Vesele, who was seen as a stumbling block in the racketeering scheme at the institution.
