The parole officer of the Boeremag member accused of raping and sexually assaulting two teenagers has been ordered to testify in his bail application so the court can find out whether he violated his parole conditions.

The man, who cannot be named until he pleads to the charges, appeared in the Bronkhorstspruit Magistrate's Court on Monday, where his bail application was expected to wrap up.

However, after the State and defence closed their cases, with the accused's advocate, Francois Kriel, presenting closing arguments, the court stopped the proceedings.
