A Thai national accused of trafficking will remain in police custody pending further investigations and the attendance of a Thai court interpreter.

Police spokesperson Captain Lloyd Ramovha said Anupong Chaiprasit appeared in the Germiston Magistrate's Court on Monday following an intelligence-led police search last Friday.
