It has been yet another bloody weekend in Cape Town after seven people, including a 17-year-old boy, were killed in two separate shooting incidents.
The latest was in Hout Bay, where four men were shot dead in a shack in Mandela Square on Saturday evening.
According to Hout Bay Community Police Forum spokesperson Anthony Chelamey, this is the second group shooting to take place in the area.
"On 12 September we also had a group of four men who were shot. We have no clue what's going on, but it's all very concerning."
Chelamey claimed there have been no updates from police regarding arrests linked to these slayings.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa said that details concerning the deceased persons are yet to be released as investigations continue.
Meanwhile, Provincial Serious Violent Crimes detectives have also opened a triple murder and attempted murder investigations after a teenager and two men were killed in Heinz Park in the Samora Machel policing precinct on Saturday evening.
It's alleged that unknown gunmen travelling in a car shot one victim multiple times, stabbed another and a third victim was hit with a brick.
All three died at the scene.

Also, Palestinian businessman Shafiq Nasser, 38, was also shot and killed when men on a motorbike opened fire on him on the corner of Bosmansdam and Omuramba roads, near Montague Gardens, bringing the week's murder toll to 14.
