A North West mother has opened a case of common assault after a teacher allegedly humiliated her son by pulling his ears at a Curro school in Klerksdorp.

"We cannot have leaders in a school who crucify children for speaking out against violence.

"The violence in this country will never get better when we have people who psychologically manipulate and victimise people," the boy’s mother told News24.
