The DA in the Western Cape plans to forge ahead with its controversial Western Cape Provincial Powers Bill despite strong opposition against it.
The party wrapped up its public consultation period earlier this month with over 700 submissions received.
The bill aims to empower capable provincial and local governments to address issues where the national government has failed to deliver services to residents.
